You are invited to be a part of the Amazon Delivery Program through Dance Express.
Please email Mitzi@danceexpressmankato.com if interested and you will receive an invite from Amazon to begin the quick and easy training process. It is recommended that you us the same email address as your personal Amazon account (not required). Amazon will reach out to you and you can begin application and training process. As soon as you’re accepted as a driver, I will send you follow up info on how the program is scheduled, and a link to give me your availability.
You create the time frame in which you deliver. Hours are flexible (plan on 2.5-3.5 hours to complete) from 10am-9 pm the day you’re scheduled. If you’re curious about the program, feel free to reach out to one of the 11 drivers that we have already actively delivering and earning money towards their accounts!
Earn Money to your DXP account, or get a check, your choice!
If money is applied to your DXP account, you will receive a credit and taxes are not reported
If you get paid by check, you will receive a 1099 form which will be reported to the IRS.
Participants will be scheduled by the day. You choose the time commitment, based on your availability.
Note: if you have a designated time, it’s important that you maintain the required schedule and if something arises, you must find a replacement. Since we have quite a few eager parents, finding a substitute shouldn’t be a problem.
Expect around 45-55 packages per day, but some days could be more, some less.
On average, deliveries will take between 2.5-3.5 hours.
You will be compensated $1.50 per package successfully delivered. You will have from 10 am – 9 pm each assigned day to complete your deliveries. You can take breaks and do not need to complete the deliveries all at one time, but it must be on the same day as pick up.
You will not receive extra compensation for gas, however, you can deduct this mileage on your taxes, providing you are claiming the income.
Each driver needs to:
Have a valid driver’s license
Be 18 and up
Have a vehicle to use
Background check (amazon initiates and pays for this)
A phone with the ability to download the Amazon Flex and Chime app.
You will also need a phone to complete your deliveries.
Children are not preferred to be a part of your delivery route.
Dance Express is not responsible for watching small children during your deliveries.
Deliveries are available 360 days a year. (Major Holidays are not required) This includes Monday – Sunday. If we do not have enough interest to keep our fulfillment requirements, we will need to pause the service.
We are allowed as an organization to “pause” certain weeks or weekends to allow for competitions, recitals, etc.
If you ever don’t feel comfortable leaving a package, you always have the option to deny delivery and bring it back to the studio (this must be done the same day)

Note: the email you use for this email will be associated with your account/app for deliveries. This can not be a shared email address. Each applicant needs to have a separate email address.
